Glazing Career

Our business is growing and we’re looking to expand our installation team. We are looking for worker(s) to assist our lead glazier in building and finishing residential and commercial glass projects. Once properly trained and confident in abilities this position will lead to working independently on various projects including shower enclosures, storefront windows & doors, residential windows, glass office partitions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of glass and glazing components in residential and commercial buildings, ensuring proper fit and alignment.
• Read and interpret plans to ensure accurate measurements and specifications while fabricating glass pieces according to project specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed on job sites and in the shop
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers at job sites

We are looking for someone with the following skills but will train the right person. Construction or glazing experience is a plus but not required.

Requirements:

• Ability to lift 80 lbs
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th”
• Proactive and enthusiastic attitude
• Mechanically inclined
• Basic knowledge of power tools
• Maintain cleanliness on job sites and at the shop
• Follow direction

Preferred:

• At least one year of construction and/or glazing experience
